I'm flattered.

I'm a Lead UI/UX and Experience Designer based in Melbourne, with about ten years of work behind me across startups, enterprise, retail tech, and a fair bit in between. My background actually started in marketing, sourcing print and campaign graphics for a Credit Union, which eventually nudged me toward night school, a Diploma in Communication Design, and the slow realisation that I'd accidentally found the thing I wanted to do with my life.

From there it was a pretty natural slide from marketing design into digital, then into UX, then into the overlap between systems thinking, accessibility, and making things that actually look good. Along the way I've shipped design systems, rebuilt a POS platform, run research and workshops, mentored designers, and sat through more stakeholder meetings than I'll ever get back. I care a lot about craft. Probably too much about typography.

Outside of work I've got a serious coffee habit, a table full of tabletop games (D&D is a regular, but I'll play anything with interesting mechanics), more colourful tattoos than a sensible person probably needs, and a dedication to Godzilla that verges on questionable.

I also share my home with my wife and two cats named Combo and Matcha, who remain deeply unimpressed by my portfolio.
